What are locals prediciting about Fay?
I am driving from TN Thurs and am concerned about the possibility of this vacation turning into a nightmare. Am I too concerned about the weather? What are the locals saying? We were coming via motorcyle. Thinking about taking the car.

If it makes it to us, it'll just be a minimal storm. Don't cancel your plans.... you might just have to deal with some rain... but it usually clears out pretty quick.

Thank you very much
I have been watching too much Weather Channel. I know they tend to hipe things up. I think we will probablly come in the car, just in case.What is your opinion on that one?

As long as a little rain doesn't bother you, you should be fine. It won't be much of a storm by the time it reaches us (if it does).
And, yes - they hype things up. So does local media. So does CNN, etc. Sensationalism in the name of safety.
