Beach Cams look awesome today! Watch the waves from Hurricane Ike roll in...
We stopped by Schooners, Spinnaker and Boatyard today to make some improvements to the cams.
Panama City Beach, FL - Schooners Live Sunset Web Cam The waves are about 10-12 feet right now and the water was almost at the back steps of Schooners and Spinnaker at lunch... and just up to the edge of the dock behind Boatyard. Check out all our cams here: Live Web Cams - Panama City Beach , Florida Good news is the tide is now going out and the swell from Hurricane Ike is going away.... so the water will recede with virtually no damage. The little bit if beach we lose should wash back up over the course of several weeks. Thanks to our Beach TV Engineers for the upgrades... the cams aren't washing out in bright sun as bad as they were... they look especially good today with a little cloud cover and the big waves! Beach damage!
Thanks for the encouraging words on the beach conditions. Early this morning CNN said there could be major damage. Looking forward to checking it out. Thanks also for the cams! They really help us stay connected to our favorite area on the planet! Have a great weekend!
