Come out and help support our efforts to save those that have been abandoned.

Pet abandonment in Bay County continues to be a leading concern to local animal shelters, rescues, and the general population. While the local shelters and rescues do what they can to alleviate this problem, there is no cure in sight. Every day large numbers of animals are abandoned due to no fault of their own.

Animal Rescue Center of Bay County, Inc. (ARC) a non-profit, no kill, all volunteer organization is leading the initiative to try and reduce these numbers as much as possible. Volunteers coordinate with local, state, and out of state breed rescues to move animals from high concentration areas to low concentration areas of abandoned pets. This is in addition to the adoption program routinely carried on locally.

Such demand for rescue efforts requires a great deal of resources. Animal Rescue Center is making a plea for help to the general public and local businesses for support in this effort.

ARC is hosting the "Step to the Rescue" annual charity dance in order to raise funds to aid our rescue efforts. Come out for a night of dancing, fun, food, drink, silent auction items, door prizes, and best of all knowing you helped save more lives.
