Looks like it is getting harder to get loans for condos in Panama City Beach, or anywhere for that matter. I wonder what it will take for local banks to start loaning on condos. Here is an article stating that only ARM loans are available on condos now.

Mortgages are getting tougher everywhere, but I didn't realize it would affect the condo market so much. Makes sense, though. PCB overbuilt the past several years... then the real estate bust... then the financial market bust... now the economy.

Could be some good deals out there if you're in a position to make the buy.

There do seem to be some good deals, but not all good deals if you know what I mean. This econdomy is sure puting a strain on things.
