So I just moved to Panama City (actually I live in Lynn Haven if you want to be technical about it) about a week and a half ago from Orlando after 2 years. Talk about a change of scenery, haha. I found this site after I was curious about the Spring Breaks here since I've heard so much about em.

Went to Schooners this past Wednesday and it was pretty good I must say, love the atmosphere. Hoping to head down to the beach again today (July 4th) for the fireworks display which should be awesome. Anyways, figured I'd say whats up to the other locals here. Take it easy!

Preciate it. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty drunk right now. Had a pretty good 4th of July, good night haha. Idrivefast, I see you're from around here, any other recommendations for where to visit around here?

The scenery takes some getting used to! My wife and I moved up here when we got married two years ago from Orlando. What part were you from?

I lived off of Boggy Creek (I know, big road), literally about 5 minutes away from the Airport off of 417. What about you guys?

Not to high-jack the thread. But since its here, I'll jump in and say I FINALLY got a job down in PC. Start tomorrow actually. Now I'm just going to have to drive back and forth from Dothan to PC every day until I get a paycheck in and can pay for an apartment. Driving back and forth is going to get old by the first day, and I'll have to do it for all of August probably.

Are there any campgrounds nearby that have hot showers; maybe you could camp part of the time until you can afford an apartment? I have a friend who actually did that for a couple of weeks when he had to relocate for a job.

I could afford an apartment, but wanted to get some extra money in before I started having to put deposits down and what not. Thankfully I've got a friend who's going to let me stay with them for a few weeks, so I won't have to be driving back and forth. Next week is my last week in Dothan, so I'm getting kinda excited. It'll be nice to see the ocean every morning on the way to work. And I'll do it, just b/c I can.

Congrats Idrivefast22! I live in beautiful middle Tennessee now but I'm from Seattle and lived all up and down the west coast. There's nothing like looking at the sea on a daily basis and there's nothing more beautiful than the Emerald Coast. We hope to land a place there in the next few years. Enjoy your time there brother!

I'm really happy your pleased, I'm considering moving back up north in 3 years (I live in navarre, about 70 miles east from PCB) as I got family there and the Destin crew and us do not get along. I hear Raleigh calling me. I feel very separated down here. But watching Randy get crazy makes me wish I lived down there instead of here. (even though I don't drink..as I have one kidney)
