Bikes, beaches, and bikinis... it's gotta be time for Thunder Beach! Thunder Beach is Panama City Beach's own motorcycle rally, an annual celebration of the motorcycle and the fun-loving people who "ride to live, and live to ride."

Thunder Beach is a series of events that take place at various venues on the Beach and in Panama City... concerts, bike parades, poker runs, and bikini girls being just a few of the highlights.

Thunder Beach is here! Bikes everywhere. I've seen some awesome rides!

I think it is great that they can get a week like that together for bike enthusiasts, but I will be sure to avoid that week at all cost from now until the day I die.

We met the September bike week head-on last year, and it was a pretty miserable time for us. The bikers were pretty rude to people in vehicles, pulling out in front of us, speeding up so we couldn't merge into traffic, and revving-up their bikes every .3 seconds. (Yes I know you have a Harley, I heard you from 4 miles away.) That is why I made sure our vacation in September this year didn't coincide with Bike Week.

I'm positive not all Bike week participants are rude, because we met some of them, but a few bad apples ruin the bunch, and there were certainly a few bad apples riding around at bike week that week.

But like I said, I think it is great that they get their own week to hang out and be loud and obnoxious. Most are Americans who have a right to enjoy their freedom of the open road. I'm just glad it is on a set week so i know when NOT to visit PCB.
