Time for a change

For the past 20 years, I've stayed in the Destin/Okaloosa Island area. After my divorce, I've decided I can't give up the Gulf Coast so I'm staying in PCB next week. Any must do's/must see's/must eat's in the area? Any guidance would be appreciated as I start a new chapter in my life. Looking forward to it. As Kenny Chesney states, I haven't had a day off in over a year. Thanks.

Welcome back missingdestin!

St. Andrew's State Park for the pristine beaches.

Liza's Kitchen for lunch or weekend brunch.

Boon Docks or Capt's Table for some fresh seafood. Also try Schooners, Capt. Anderson's, Boatyard and Spinnaker... all serve fresh local seafood.

Gotta see Pier Park at least once. (nice nightlife scene there, too.... Tootsies, Hofbrau, etc)

Try a helicoptor tour.

Go charter fishing.

Spinnaker and Schooners at night for singles. Club La Vela is fun, too... great bands if you like live music.

And if you want something different - try Le Grand Cirque at Grand Boulevard in Sandestin. Awesome show. Went last week and it was amazing.

And, if you want to take a cool road trip, check out Highway 30A and all it's State Parks, cool restaurants, shops, etc.

Ridge is on a distinguished road
Great list by SWN5363. I also like Pineapple Willy"s and Ms. Newbys. The best thing is to check out the local doings and gather opinions to find the things YOU may like. We have found all sorts of fun mom&pop shops in the area through Tripsmarter! Beach TV is also cool to watch. Pier 77 was brought to our attention last year and that will be our first stop when we hit town this year. However you define cool, you will find it in PCB! ENJOY YOURSELF!
