Hotel Planned for Treasure Ship Site

Looks like preliminary plans are in place to build a ten-story hotel with a restaurant on the site of the old Treasure Ship site.

What do you guys think of that?

Mrs Peel will become famous soon enough
Maybe they could build a hotel to look just like the ship did and keep Hook's Grill and Grog at the dock like before! Not likely, but I'll miss seeing that big ship sitting there. That area has certainly had it's share of disasters; first Hamilton's, now this.

It's difficult to think of it as anything BUT a place for the Treasure Ship. I think I'd rather see some type of really cool attraction go in it's place. Or another really cool themed restaurant.

But, a hotel could be good for that immediate area I guess.

Speaking of Hamilton's, I wonder what the owners will do with that property. At one time, it was rumored they were planning a mini-complex with shopping and dining. Wonder if that was true?

Ridge is on a distinguished road
A new attraction other than a hotel would be nice. Kinda feels like there is more than enough hotels in the area. We'll always miss the ship.
