For anyone that has been at PCB before on spring break... How crappy is it being under 21?

I'm under 21 but this is my first spring break, all I"m gonna do is drink in my room. IT sounds sucky but I wont get in trouble. then I'll get drunk and go out. If I'm just walking on the strip and I don't feel crunk anymore I'll just go drink some more. I would say just drink in a safety zone with no police.

Listen I am 20 and from what I have been reading alot of people are 20. Just party inyour rooma nd then go out. I heard you can drink on the beach so just put it in a cup and have a good tiime. Also trying to score a real Id cant hrt I found one that looks alot like me and isnt a fake one.
Mandi what week are you going and where are you staying?
Casue we are figuring out how to play beer pong in our room lol

I am 20 too and I am going down the 8th through the 15th. Where are you staying NY? I am staying at the Boardwalk. Email me and we can have an under 21 party. At least I am going with people that are 21 so they can just buy me alcohol and I can get drunk before we go anywhere. I have a real ID but it is my sister and it is clipped and I would be super pissed if it got taken away.

ahh its really not that bad there im serious im only19 and i didnt get caught at all....cops, security mostly said as long as you keep it behind state property or whatever (the streets) then u have a VERY low chance of gettin busted but jus keep it in a can or a cup NOT a bottle

Ahhh...the age-old question...to drink or not to drink. Here's the deal. At spring break...the cops are EVERY where. If you do ANY thing illegal...chances are you're going to get busted.

If you're under 21 and you want to drink...be smart about it. Stay in your room and do it. Chances are...you will get caught if you are on near the street...or out in public drinking. You might be able to get away with it at your hotel pool. But the beach, and streets are bad ideas. I've seen too many people get arrested and end up spending their spring break in jail because they wanted to drink. Fake Id's? Probably not a good idea. You have to remember that there are probably 30 thousand other under 21 people with the same idea you have, coming down the same week. So the bouncers will see thousands of fake id's...and for the most part will be able to spot them.

Do what you need to do to have fun, just be smart about it. There's no need in spending your weekend in jail.

Oh...the "pour your beer in a cup" routine...doesn't work. If beach patrol sees you, more than likely they will ask to look in your cup. And believe it or not...I see it every year...but thinking it's cool to hide a few beers in the car and drink while you're cruising the strip...VERY bad idea. That will definitely get you locked up...especially if you're under 21.

WEll..I know I sound like a party pooper...but I'm just trying to save y'all some trouble. It's VERY possible to still have fun and do all the things you want to do down there...just be smart about it.

im only 20 right now and this is my 3rd year going to panama city. The last two years i was at Pineapple beach villa's down past The Sandpiper. To everyone who is under age listen.. Yes they are strick, but you can be cool about it. If you dont wanna sit in your room and drink you can go to the smaller bars like Skarky's, Harpoon Harry's, Hammerhead Freds, there all cool. You wont get into any trouble, most they will do is take your ID. They know its break and 50% of the people in there are not 21 they know this. be cool, look good, be nice and you wont have any problems

yea under 20 here too, went down there last year and didnt seem to have a problem. i drank on the beach quite a bit and on the strip i just put it in a cup. dont be a moron about things and you should be aight. as for clubs, i didnt spend awhole lot a time at the big clubs, i usually hit the tiki bar (sandpiper), didnt cost anything to get in and they didnt mark your hand, i was doing some body shots, so it was pretty easy for me to drink there. gonna be at the beachcomber by the sea this year which is close to the sandpiper so i will probably hit the tiki bar again this year.

Yah I heard the tiki bar is alright about underage drinking. Hopefully it is the same way this year. I'll prolly be there most of my nights too! Only 18 more days for me!

I'm only 20 too and last year when i went i had no problem...me and all my friends pretty much got to drink wherever we went. I have a question though to anyone who knows...i'm staying at the holiday inn the last week in march and will me and my friends most likely get busted if we bring a bag with beer in it to the beach?? Are cops bad about just coming up to you and asking for your id on the beach? I wouldn't think they would be bad in front of the holiday inn since the beach is so crowded durin gthe day but i don't know!!!

I don't know about cops coming up to you on the beach...but there is beach patrol out there. I've heard that they may come up to you to ask what's in your cup.

You know what's cool about being a non-drinker? It's that you drinkers are so damn funny, and cool as hell to listen to. :) When you get drunk, you tell all your business...and you pay for everything. Thank goodness for drunk people!!! :)

As mentioned in a few other posts...just "be smart" about what you do. Don't try to come up with some elaborate scheme or plan as to how you're going to get over. Just be cool. If you're not brining attention to yourself...then most likely you won't be noticed.

By the way...I'm headed down to PC beach this weekend (Mar 7 - 9)...and unfortunately, I'll be going by myself...so if anyone wants to meet up with a cool guy...email me and I'll send pics...
