St Andrews Recreation Area Campground

Some people we know are staying down at the St Andrews Rec Area Campground. Does anyone know how far away it is from the strip and if anyone parties there. It sounds pretty damn boring, but they want us to come party with them for a day while we are there. If anyone else is staying there March 22-26, let us know...we'll party with you too.

St Andrews State Recreation Area isn't far from the Strip at all. It's off of Thomas Drive on the opposite end from the superclubs Spinnaker, Club La Vela, Hammerhead Freds, etc... maybe 2 or 3 miles.

Chances are, your friends are staying at a campsite, which is an affordable option to inflated Spring Break rates, or lack of vacancy at hotels. This time of year, and with the weather changing it should be really nice to stay out there. You'll be a short distance from some of the best unspoiled beaches in the area, and if you want to party, like i said.. the strip's only about 3 miles West.

As for partying in St. Andrews, I think they limit noise in the campground area after a certain time of day. Rules etc, should be available as you enter the park.

Hope that helps, and have fun.

St Andrews Campground (Restaurant Close By)

And if you stay at the campground, you HAVE to eat at Capt Andersons. This place has the best food, atmosphere, etc.

You have got to try their 34 oz Certified Angus Beef Porterhouse T-Bone. What a bargain!
