Out of curiosity, has anyone watched FX's Hitchiker Chronicles? I noticed with some surprise that the "star" of my entry from the 18th was on the fourth or fifth episode of the show.

Mindy was apparently quite determined to get her fifteen minutes over spring break. :)

Interesting... I'll have to keep an eye on FX when that show comes on. Did she have a speaking role, or was she just an extra?

The show operates like a PCB version of Taxicab Confessions, and she has a little segment all to herself. The chances of you catching it in the future are pretty good, because they tend to "remix" episodes by stitching together segments from past shows... her bit has already appeared in two different episodes.

Thanks! In order to justify spending two weeks in Florida, I had to dedicate myself to coming back with tons of footage for the blog. (I want it to serve double-duty as both a personal photo album and a demo of JournURL's blog/discussion tools.) I ended up with about 12 MiniDV tapes full of stuff, and it's just a matter of digging through it all and pulling out useful stills.

I've also got to get around to writing up reviews of the various restaurants we visited before I completely forget what I I liked (or didn't) about them.

As for coming back, we're not sure yet. We've got to clean off a credit card, and my wife's vacation situation is in flux. It's definitely something we *want* to do, though.
