Anyhting big going on in and around Panama July 2 through the 6th? Ive been in Destin in Past years, but I guess we are going for a change in Party Atmosphere this year! Let me know something people!

Well if you've spent the last six years down in Destin then you know that 4th of July weekend is the biggest weekend of the summer, so of course there is plenty going on in Panama City. If your in downtown Panama City head down to the Marina on the 4th for live music, food, amd other festivities. Look for the parade of boats and fireworks at night. If your at the beach check out the action at Pier Park, for there are festivities all day, including live music, food, an F-15 flyover by A Tyndall Air Force Base Honor guard and of course, a huge fireworks display. Both are definitely events not to be missed!

Any big parties or such going on at any of the clubs in the Area? Is the Beach usually pretty packed behind La Vela like it is during Spring Break or is there somewhere else I should go for the partying crowd?

I don't think La Vela has announced their plans for the 4th, but they ALWAYS involve lots of partying, bikini contests, etc. They'll probably have a big name DJ, maybe a well-known band, and a theme night like Superflirt.

That's one of the biggest weekends of the summer, so pretty much every place has parties and specials happening. I'm sure Spinnaker, Sharky's Hammerhead's, etc will be packed. The strip will be packed. Especially since the 4th falls on a Friday... makes it easy for people to take a 3 day weekend and come to the beach.

Make your reservations and pack your bags! Party is on!

In walking distance to La Vela, a list would be great!!!

Clubs.........that are in walking distance from lavela? Or hotels?? The only clubs around lavela are pretty much spinnakers and hammer head freds. If you are looking for hotels or condo's, try the boardwalk beach resort or the summit condos, both walking distance and reasonably priced!! Hope this helps, enjoy

Yeah, Summit is booked, so I guess Boardwalk it will be, I think there are two left there.

Yea, call the boardwalk and ask for Eva! I know her pretty well, she will hook you up! And you will enjoy the boardwalk, pretty good location, thats where I have stayed the last 2 years on spring break! Enjoy
