Hi, I have been down to panama city beach twice for spring break and will be returning for a third time. I dont remember what week I went the first time, and the second time it was the last week of march and things were slowing down. I would like to know what week is the craziest down in panama city beach. I am looking at the 6th-13th, or the 13th - 20th ?? Someone please let me know what is up in there honest opinion. the best time to go and it's the same time I go each year is the second week of March. business will definetly pick up. That's is the craziest week for sure. I would arrive on either a tuesday or Wednesday. Good luck.

Ive been down for every week in march and the first week in april... And you really cant go wrong with the first 3 weeks of March. Its nuts all through then, most southern schools are 2nd and 3rd weeks. If you wait any later you start getting into highschool kids and stuff at the End of April and March. Ofcourse they need there time too.

Everyone knows that the best weeks in pcb for spring break are the second and third weeks in March. Pretty much anywhere from about the 8th or 9th to about the 22nd or 23rd. If you go in this time frame I guarentee that you won't be dissapointed, and that you'll have an absolute blast. Supafly

So whats been going on down there(PC) as far as tearing down older places and building new condos and things? Havent heard much about it. I know last I was down there a lot of things seem to be being demolished. Hope all the newer condos and things dont ruin a legend as far as spring break go's...

The Majestic and a few other roach motels are gone, and a couple of the new condos have opened... the rest are under construction.

Basically, it won't affect Spring Break much at all... Bay County will always welcome Spring Breakers, and there will always be rooms available all over the Beach. Places like Holiday Inn, Boardwalk, Days Inn, Ramada, Sandpiper, and hundreds more cater to Spring Breakers and love every minute of it.

And there will always be places to party, despite the rumors that go around every year. Club La Vela, Spinnaker, Hammerhead's, Sharky's, Harpoon Harry's and clubs up and down the strip love the business that Spring Break brings to the Beach.

Oh yeah- these guys are right about the 2nd and 3rd weeks of March. HOT HOT!!!

Wow! The Majestic is gone?! I know it was a rat hole, but it was a legend as well. I enjoyed driving/walking through that part of town. Never knew what was going to happen. Kinda reminded me of being in Mexico or something. If the city could have planned for some nice bars to move in that area it could have been really nice. Direct traffic around that little section and open it only to people walking and stuff. ha ha, I love my rambling Ideas... anyway! What are they building there now? The Majestic took up a pretty big hunk of Real Estate right there...

Not really sure... we'll have to drive by one day at lunch and check it out... I think they may still be in the process of tearing it down.

I think many of those older, smaller hotels are being forced to rebuild because the buildings don't meet code and are considered unsafe. Many people thought of them as an eyesore, but plenty of us have memories from those cheap motels. They seemed to attract the more fun, don't-give-a-sh*t crowd.

Oh well... can't stop progress. There will still be cheap motels around, just fewer and more spread out.

Yea they are def fun places to party your arse off. Never stayed at any of them. But a lot of college students dont have any choice but to stay in a hole. Ive stayed at the Days Inn 1 year and the Moondrifter my last 3. So Ive been pretty lucky. I Love staying at the moondrifter. Lots of Action and easy for Taxis and stuff to come get you and take you into town and drop you off close to where you need to be. This year Im not too sure If Im going back down there or not, Its my Junior year and a lot of my friends want to try somewhere new(Havasu, Miami, Padre) but, Im sure whenvever it comes down to it we will end up right in the legend as usual.
