Hey, i will be in Panama City the second week in March. I just wanted to know should i get a hotel on the beach or the Strip?

I would check out the Boardwalk, Summit, or Holiday Inn Sunspree.....depends what you are looking for.

Yeah, isn't the beach = the strip?? Am I missing something?

Yeah, the strip runs alongside the beach. But anyways, I think the Holiday Inn and Boardwalk are the best hotels down there. Unfortunately, you have to pay for what you get. If you are looking for a good, less expensive hotel, I like the Chateau. It's located in the middle of the strip, so you are relatively close to everything. It's also right next to Harpoon Harry's. The Chateau also seems to be less strict than the Holiday Inn and Boardwalk. I stayed at the Holiday Inn once, and the Chateau the past two years. I think I'm gonna be staying there again this year, too.
