where are the best places to party and what are the prices like ?

This will be our first trip down to Panama City. The last 2 years we've crossed the boarder. We wanna know what kind of cover charges were looking at and what are some of the best places to go. Were staying at the boardwalk beach resort march 20th to 27th. We wanna know what kinda cash flow were going to be dealing with and if its worth it to get one of these party cards and what not that these spring break places are trying to pawn off on us. form what i heard most of the bars have free happy hours but that could be street propaganda. if anyone knows the town and wha tthe prices are really like drop a thread.

Here is the low down!!

Here is everything you need to know! Ive stayed at the Boardwalk Beach Resort for the past 2 years, this being my 3rd year. As far as cover goes, that all depends! Every club offers a cheap cover(5 bucks) everynight from 7-9, and most of the time they offer free beer from then also. We usually go there, get our hand stamped then go back to our hotel and party until we want to go back in. The party cards are worthless in my opinion! Unless you are under 21, then they might have some value, but other than that, not much at all. The boardwalk is right beside the 2 largest clubs in PCB, club lavela and spinnakers, so you can walk to both! During the day, the party is right behind the boardwalk all the way down to lavela and spinnakers! Crazy contests, tons of free give aways and all out madness! As far as food, there is a McDonalds, Subway, and a Pizza hut in walking distance! I think that covers everything. Oh yea, you can probably get by on 300 in spending cash! Enjoy

Good to see another Marylander on here. I am actually out of college but went last year the 22nd-29th. I have plenty of info if you need it and can pass it along to a cousin of mine that goes to College Park. I think I will be going back this year the 13-20th but we are looking at the Summit. From all indications the Boardwalk is the best place to stay down there however. Here is my trip report from last year:

Ha! Yeah, I have a few blank spaces in my Spring Break recollections, too. But the stuff I do remember was 100% craziness!

Hats off to all those who can remember enough to write a journal!

Where to stay, my 50 cents

I've stayed at the Boardwalk three times, and the Summit last time I went to PCB (Labor Day). The Summit is far better for having room space, etc. It can also be cheaper if you have the resident chef in house, with the kitchen. It is right next to La Vela and Spinnaker as well. As far as them being strict, I haven't encountered that, or have my friends, and others (without summit bands) were brought back to the condo. Which brings another reason for the summit, in the boardwalk, you have to kick everyone out to have privacy (unless you want to do the nasty in the bathroom used by 6 to 8 other horny guys, if you know what I mean.) At the summit, you have at least one room to yourself. They even have 3 bedroom units, each with there own bathroom, so that is another plus. I haven't had a bad experience at the boardwalk, other than me being a neatfreak and trying to clean everyday, but I'm at the point now where space is a plus (damn I'm getting old!!! Not old enough to grow out of Spring Break, I wont even say this is my last one this year).

Peace out ya'll!!!
