Thanks for the news!! I went to the spinnakers beach bash last year, a waste of 20 bucks!!! Most the people were on the beach, and NOT inside, they were also being stingy with the drinks. Wouldnt serve you unless you tipped each time, what a waste! But, hopefully they will change some things this year. Looking forward to it, thanks for the update!!!! enjoy

This is our last spring break so we would like to make it a time to remember. I heard that on the beach behind the hotel is were all the action is alot of the time, is that true, we have never stayed there before.

The 50 buck VIP pass for spinakers sounds like a good deal considering we are staying next door at the Summit.. Being over 21 its more of a deal but is it worth it?? What is the VIP area all about?

Here is what I was told by spinnakers today:

"Unfortunately we will no longer have a pool. It has become a HUGE liability issue for us and due to insurance issues it had to go!
Eventually we will have a BIG bar there instead, but it will not be built in time for Spring Break. "

So........looks like they are doing away with the pool!! As for your question Tigerman, the VIP card is worth it!! You do NOT have to wait in line, you walk in the middle row, and there is never a line. Show them your card, and they let you right in, you get SO MANY people waiting in like looking at you wondering why you are so special, it rocks!! Also, they have a private vip section upstairs with a private bar, its nice!! Plus a private dance section overlooking the main dance floor! TONS of hotties!! Thats where ILL be this year, holla at me!! Enjoy
