Question about wristbands

Me and a buddy are staying at "The Summit" March 27th - April 3rd" And from reading these posts im concerned about this wristband policy. You cant take ANYONE back to your room? How can they do this if they accompany you into the condo? Im 26 years old and if I want to invite a friend back to a privately owned condo unit how can the security say I cant have a friend over? What prevents two people from going up and throwing down their wristbands? This sounds more like a dorm life than a condo you rent for alot of money. I guess you could always register your guest and pay 25 bucks.. Can you?

Security's first checkpoint is the entrance to the property... you'd have to throw it a loonnngg way (over the perimeter fences). I'm sure there are ways to get around this.. nothing's perfect. If you get your wristband stuck in a palm tree, you're going to be hating life.

Ask when you check in. At least you'll know the policy better.. and since you're renting from a private owner, you may have other options available. Each hotel/condo will probably approach security / wristbands their own way... and most probably got some feedback over the way they did things last year, so maybe they won't be so strict this year?

Mission Impossible?

I can hear the MI song playing in the background as I try to infiltrate the compound with a date.

yes!!

The Summit is almost impossible to get into! They have a 10 foot gate around the entire place with security patrolling the entire place! Thats why I stay at the Boardwalk! #1 beach parties, its beside lavela, and they dont care who you bring back! Good luck with the security!! Enjoy

I just dont understand how its allowed

Im not renting from the Condo Im renting from the owner of the unit. So basically they are telling me that the owner himself couldnt bring a friend back to his condo? I understand that it is a security issue and I have no problem with that.

However if the guest is WITH ME and I have an arm band then obviously there is no security problem there.

Just seems to me like the Condo trying to make a quick buck on its guests no matter whom they rent from. Seems like extortion to me.

Also there are restaurants on the Summit's property so the people going there to eat must be a registered guest? I looked at the boardwalk but basically wanted a condo. And the Summit being so close to the big clubs was too hard to pass up. Im sure I will have a great time no matter how bad the security would be.. Hopefully there are alot of ladies ALSO staying at the Summit...

Lightbulb Wristbands

Won't this work---

2 people with wristbands go up to the room.
Person 1 gives Person 2 their wristband.
Person 2 goes down and gives Person 3 the wristband.
All three people get in.

???????

Also, I'm renting from the private owner March 6-13th, not the hotel, so where do I get the wristbands- owner or hotel?

Ah HA!!!

Thats a plan..

Basic Math problem:

You have 4 people wanting to get into a building but only 2 have wristbands.. Person 1 goes up with Person 2 drops person 2 off then comes down and gives person 3 the wristband. Person 1 and 3 go back up then person 1 goes down again and gives person 4 the wristband. Both person 1 and person 4 go back up and have a great time :)

Now in order to not look suspicious to security..

Person 1 has a total of 3 trips to make.. Its advisable that a different point of attack is used to keep the security from knowing anything is a foot. Better yet do not send the same person down everytime.. Doing so might make the secirity recognize person 1 too much.. Of course this causes a problem.. If the two girls are hot then the security guard will notice EVERY trip they make and become too watchful of the events.. So I guess just alternating people should do the trick.

End result 50 bucks saved for more booze!

I realize this can be done with any size group..

Oh and about the wristbands... Its my understanding that you still get the wristbands from the condo.. Im sure thats why they charge more too... SO the condo can make money off of those who dont even rent from them.. The question is do we have to wait to register before going to the room since we will already have the keys.

The parents would be proud of that college education! :D Good plan! Hope it works!

(as long as your name isn't written on the wristband, and the security isn't matching it up with your ID....) unlikely though.

how about this..
so i found a website that sells vinyl wristbands in 24 colors and paper ones in like 60 colors and designs, and i think you are able to get a mixture of colors. I wanted to get a few of each to cover all my bases but the boxes include either 500 or 1000.
hopefully they would match some of the other hotels so you could go pretty much where ever you wanted

it would have to be someone going around march 14-21 since thats when im going

let me know!!

actually kelly if im not mistaking reading that, if you buy creative plastic wrist bands then there is no minimum order so you could theoretically buy 1 or any other number of bands....
