Yea looks like im going alone.The person i was going with isnt going now he would rather save his money and fix his car up.Ive only been one time for spring break and that was when i was 21 and my friends messed that up.Im 23 now and im not going to miss this year.Im thinking about takeing a bus and was wondering how much a taxi would be from THE bus station to the beach and what is the cheapest motel.

After you get off the bus, take a cab to the "Toy Box", come party with the beautiful girls and then walked directly across the street to the Howard Johnson's, if thats not a great enough deal then you have tons of other reasonable motels in short walking distance. Only about a mile and a half to the beach.

Finding cheap hotels on Panama City Beach during spring break is going to be kind of tough. The futher down the beach you stay, the cheaper the hotels will be. But, you will need to rent a car to get back and forth, or make some friends, which won't be difficult, because everyone's really friendly during spring break.

There are cheap hotels that aren't exactly on the beach, but it's almost not worth it. If you want to have the most fun, stay on the beach. Hope this helps.

So, We've got one suggestion for the Howard Johnson as a cheap hotel (but its not on the beach)

Everyone's going to raise rates for Spring Break, so your absoulte cheapest ones are going to be motels, and you can try campgrounds.

St Andrews State Park is on the beach and would be ultra cheap if you wanted to stay in a tent... that's true beach partying... tent, cooler full of beer.. some chicks.. under the stars.. a nice fire and some s'mores. Shave with a big knife. Some girls might think that's hot.

Seriously.. try motels, but they'll probably raise rates, around March so try to book now.

Ryan is talking about a different HoJo (there's one in town across the bridge). The one on the Beach is the Howard Johnson at Boardwalk. Awesome Spring Break hotel.

We're staying at the Beachbreak by the Sea! The cheapest one we found!!! I hope it's nice! Looks decent enough,and it's on the beach!!! :D

The Plaza motel is very inexpensive and its right down the road from hooters and across the street from the beach!:D :D

I have a reservation at the Howard Johnson for 160+tax a night for a double and a bunkbed sleeping up to six. This is really the place from what I can tell if you are going in a group.
On the other hand, if you need cheap, are going alone or in a smaller group, and still want to be on the beach, get the Islander.

This motel is next to the Best Western on the beach and for a single it was only 95$ a night for up to two people, including the fridge and microwave. Couldn't beat that price anywhere as far as I could tell. If anyone has anything bad to say about the Islander, let me know ASAP. The cancellation fee is only 10$, so if I don't find anyone to go with me to the HoJo then I will stay there, and if I do then Islander.
