Question dress code?

Is there a dress code at the clubs down there, i have heard all these rumors that guys must have collered shirts on and tucked in, shorts cannot be frayed at the bottom, and what about shoes, are open toed sandals allowed.

oh yeah, also are you allowed to bring boomboxes into your rooms to play music.

In my experience, you can wear just about anything.....usually I stick with cargo shorts and an outrageous shirt, when I'm feeling laid back, otherwise the crazy stuff comes out. I've wore sandals to the club, but wouldn't recommend it, usually you'll end up with sore feet from walking around, or stubbing your toes. Go with the tight shirts, and khaki pants....the ladies love it....if you have the goods. I usually dress really nice 2 of 7 nights, just for pics for the family, etc. Club la vela has the "upper class" room where you want to wear dress pants, and a nice shirt....its actually pretty cool in there, a bit more laid back. Cool if you find that special someone that you would spend $50 to $100 on a couple nice glasses of champagne.

Yes... you'll have to "Dress to Impress" for the *****kat VIP Lounge in Club La Vela.. so look your best.

You'll see some very hot people getting into that room behind the velvet rope, and you'll want in there badly. You'll also see some celebs in there possibly since its the least accessible room, you'll probably see whomever played on stage that night.. the girls who won the wet-t and bikini contests...the guys who won the hardbody contests.. and you'll see some angry people who couldn't get in there waiting outside. It's quite fun! There's a private DJ spinning, private bar, private VIP deck... It's all hot people. It's very swank.

You have to go at least once while you're there.

A 'swank' place in the middle of the Redneck Riviera. Pretentious, I'm sure.

Yeah right

There is no dress code for Club La Vela, or Spinnakers. Those are probably the two clubs you will visit the most.

If there is a dress code, they don't enforce it. It gets so damn hot in that club, that people are usually down to their wife beaters by the end of the night.
