Myself a couple friends are planning on heading to PCB the 6-13th.

We are looking for some advice... all three of us are 20. We all have decent Connecticut novelty id's which have worked without fail in PA and NJ, and are curious how strict the bouncers and such are at the clubs in PCB.

Is it worth risking trying to get the 21+ stamp? Or should we just pregame hard? Will we get hassled inside the club to show our id more then once? (sometimes you will get ID'd at the door, then again when you get a drink)

Is it possible to get a 21+ stamp or band from a party recruiter on the street?

How bad are the cops? Do they look the other way or do they give everyone a hard time?

Whats our best bet?

i would just pregame really hard if u want my opinion, last year i was only 20 and i got a really decent i.d. took from me, and i would be really careful about drinkin without a band or 21 stamp in a bar, last year my girlfriend waited in line at lavela for an hour and a half and payed 30 bucks to get in and was kicked out within 20 mins of being there for underage driking. As far as the cops are u will be fine if youre not dumb. they are real strict about sitting on the bedrails of trucks and the toolboxes also, they also dont want your feet hanging out of any vehicle, but on the beach and stuff you will be fine as long as its in a can, (no bottles). but as far as riding the strip and such, if u stay seated in the bed of the truck or inside the vehicle u should be fine because there is so many people out there.

I would pre-game hard! That's what we did last year while in Daytona! Still managed to have a really great time! Also I don't know about PCB, but while we were in Myrtle Beach, Fat Tuesdays had a scanner for your ID's! I don't think your fake is gonna get around that! Not sure if they have them there, but you never know! :D

Just remember that you're not the first or only person to bring a fake id to pcb. Every year thousands of people think they're going to get over, but for the most part, it just doesn't work. Unfortunately, that idea is so common, that the bouncers are on the look out for it. I've seen people wait in line for an hour, only to be embarrassed when the bouncer spotted their fake id. Inside the club...I've seen 19 year old's not get kicked out until they were already completely trashed. But as another person said, you might get kicked out after only being there 20 minutes. So, even though they sound like a good idea...fake id's aren't.

Cops...security, whatever...sucks. Some years they're really strict and will pull you over for anything. And other years, you barely see them. Just make sure not to bring too much attention to yourself...such as stopping traffic...hanging out the windows...standing up in the back of your truck...hanging out of the sun roof. I know I know...sucks right, but depending on the attitude of some of these cops, they'll pull you over in a heartbeat.

Oh...drinking while driving down the strip...not a good idea. It doesn't mean that it's going to happen. But I can guarantee you that you will see some people getting arrested for that, especially if they're under 21. So be careful.

Here's a question to add to the fake id thing. We have this guy that will turn 18 like 2 weeks after we go down there. If he got a fake just to say he is 18 for that week, which is the only reason he wants the fake, would they be really strict about it. I'm sure there are plenty of underage people trying to get into the clubs, but I'll bet most try to pull off being 21. Will they look as hard if someone is under 21? I know La Vela has the teen room or whatever, but I don't think any other clubs do, and I doubt he wants to go in there anyway.

The other option is just saying he forgot his id and trying to get in as under 21 that way. I assume most clubs will not be letting anyone in without an id, but I know places have done that where I'm from.

I've told him that he will not be able to have a fake saying he is 21, but I figure those two options are his best bets to get in anywhere. Appreciate any advice given.

I really don't think they'll let anyone in without an ID. My friend really left his at the hotel last year, and he had to go back and get it. All the advice I can give is, if you are gonna try to pull that off, make sure it's a real ID. You are much better off using someone's ID who looks similar, than using a fake ID with your picture. Out of the 3 years I've been down there, I've seen a lot of fake IDs among my friends and not one of them worked. They all got taken away. On the other hand, I've never seen someone turned away when using someone else's ID. As long as they look similar, you should be alright. There are no guarantees though. It's still risky.

Grrr! PCB is really REALLY strict! Make sure u remember EVERYTHING on the ID! Even practice the signature! My friend used her real ID one year and they still took it away! So please be careful but still have fun!! :)
