I've seen a million approaches, and very few of them work.

There's the drunk-forceful-touchy-feely guy who gets turned down by every girl.

There's the shy guy who stands on the way - who gets overlooked by every girl.

I've even seen the polite guys that ask, "would you like to dance" get shot down.

SO, what is the "correct" way to approach you if we want to dance with you?

I always just looked the girl in the eyes gave her a smile and asked if she would like to dance.. Cant remember the last time I have been turned down. Of course I dont go out as much as I used to either..

Personally i like it when a guy is ballsy enough to just come up and dance with me. Just don't be that "touchy-feely" guy, cause if you're lucky both people will naturally start copping a feel. ha.

I've noticed that. I'm a pretty shy person. But once I decided..."what the hell". And I would just start dancing with whoever was in front of me. Most of the time, it worked.

Many times, I'm usually the shy guy watching everyone else dance. And I'll spot a girl being groped by a drunk guy. She'll motion me to come over and save her. That's always nice. :D

another thing you should watch for is girl's who are eyeing you. a lot of times guys are too shy to make a move so usually i try to spark it myself. please tell me you would know if a girl was giving you "the eye"!! and when you see this....it's time to make the move. the only problem is guy's usually don't notice...so keep your eye's open!

Girls are hard to figure out sometimes. We don't notice, because you don't "eye" us for more than half a second. As opposed to guys whol will just STARE.

oh you trust me....i have mastered "the eye" it hasn't failed for me yet! so you keep your eye's open for me when you're in PCB and i'll show you the technique..hahaha:)

Well.........I didnt get the nickname J-nasty for nothing! Im extremely ballsy!! If I see a girl i want to dance with, ILL go right up and start dancing with her!! Just be yourself, be confident!! And about the "Night at the Roxbury" movie, I own that believe it or not!!Great movie!! " Yea........we're on the list! Doug Butavi, Steve Butavi!! You guys are brothers?? NO...........YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course we dont notice! You have to look at the girl eyeing you at the exact same time for that to happen. The best way for a girl to get a guys attention is to look at the guy and SMILE! Just looking at a guy is not an invitation. That leaves too much to think about and thats not good if the guy is shy.

When dancing, is there supposed to be any conversation? The music's kind of loud. After the song is over, is there supposed to be any conversation...or just a "thanks for the dance"?

offer to buy her a drink and either keep dancing or go somewhere and talk to her....if you're interested ask her what she's doing after she leaves the club...hotel parties never stop so just go from there!
