This weekend starts the big parades! Next weekend is huge.

Mardi Gras.... Get over hangover..... PCB!!! Spring Break!

i wish i was going to mardi gras. i bet its wild. i've never been.

But I cant imagine SB is any wilder than Mardi Gras. Im sure they are pretty much the same. Except mardi gras is for everyone. Even a family can have a good time. But for those looking to party Bourbon becomes the largest street party in the world. Only negative is I find there are TOO many people. You could pick up your feet and still move with the flow of the crowd. Most bars are at capacity but man what goes on in those streets is crazy.. The police are the best too.. I have seen cops taking pictures for people while they flash and hand their camera back. Basically everything goes unless you do harm to someone or property. (They have been cracking down on sex in the streets so I guess I cant say everything.) Typical Mardi Gras Day:

Wake up drink a beer to kill the hangover..

Go to a couple of parades. Drink, eat some gumbo

Go home change head to bourbon bringing your hard fought beads.. (You get beads for free at the parades.. no need to flash.. especially if kids are around, if your a girl you will get more than you need anyway)

On bourbon ride the wave of people.. Get a hand grenade (strongest drink in NO) "offer up" some of your beads ;) I have found lately a girls flash and make out for beads more than ever..

Do this until about 6am and start over... (Mardi Gras day the bars close at midnight to clean up the streets)

The city actually judges the success of mardi gras by the amount of trash sweeped up from the streets..

Yea, I have two mardi gras balls this weekend in Mobile and then I head to New Orleans for 5 nights starting Friday the 20th. Im 21 years old and have been two Mardi Gras 21 straight years in the big easy... Wouldnt miss it for anything, Nothing like it in the World. You cant compare Spring Break and Mardi Gras they are too diffrent to compare but both are one hellacious party... Party On!

I know I'm excited about going to Mardi Gras parades. But instead of going to celebrate in uptight Downtown Mobile like usual I'm gonna be in New Orleans. Nothin' beats Bourbon Street in NO. And I'm gonna get me ALOT of beads, especially on FAT TUES. So I know what you mean Tigerman, that's the next best thing we're looking forward to besides SB in PCB. See ya'll:D .
