Hey, is anybody staying at the Sandpiper Beacon? Or, does anybody know anything about it? Should we stay there or duck out?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

There will be 12 of (guys & girls) staying there, we also have about 14 other ppl from our group staying elsewhere.
Point is, we will love to party & play sports.

yea, the sandpiper is a killer place, We are goin march 5th through the 13th, and we stayed there last year and are stayin again this year. Even though it's a few miles from the action, the place has its' own action with the Tiki Bar, and also i think Bob Marley's Old band, The Wailers is playin there March 9th! Should be a kick *** time!

If i were u i'd stay out of the SandPiper. Stayed at the Boardwalk 3 days last yr 3 days at SandPiper. Had a blast at the Boardwalk. Cried while at SandPiper, it is miles from the action...think traffic, DUIs and no females will be willing to accompany all the way back. The only thing they got going is the TikiBar which is pretty small. By the way their security is pretty strict on that wristband stuff. Since its on the other side of action you will probably spend most of your time partying at the TikiBar. So if you want to limit yourself to 2% of springbreakers choose the SandPiper.

its cool me and my friends are stayin at the sand piper too and hopefully it wont suck if it does we can all just meet up and have a fat ***** party

The sandpiper security is not strict at all! We stayed there last year and had a blast, and we're stayin there again this year, the countdown till march 5th begins!!!!

When are you all going down to the Sandpiper? We're coming down from Mar 13-21. We are staying in the partial view area. If anybody is going to be down there when we are....lemme know. We can exchange cells or somethin & meet up at the Tiki Bar or whatever (if ya want). We are going to be playing vball, fball, frisbee...& whatever else. We're a really athletic group. (But we're all about the drinky drinky too.)

You're so lucky! I wish spring break was march 5th cause I don't think i can put up with WV weather for much longer!

The Sandpiper is so far out of the way it's not even worth it. It looks nice from what I can see on their website, but I have never actually drove past it...well, and remember driving past it. Me and some friends have just drove down that way to see what all was down there. The only thing the Sandpiper has is the Tiki Bar which I've heard is always full, but that's about all it has going for it. Panama City is all about location and the Sandpiper is just too far away from anything.
