for those of you have been to panama city
Ok here is the story we had to get a cheaper hotel for one of my friends because he hardly had any money and it is off the beach and now he just bailed we are just going to stick with our reservation but how do we get to the beach I know walking is an option but with a cooler full of beer and a radio and cd's. Do any of you know if there would be an easier way to get down to the beach without having to carry all that stuff?

i think taxis usually just charge a flat fee during springbreak but i guess that depends on how far away you are. i think some places offer free rides but i never got on one of them so i cant help you much there, usually there is a spingbreak bus that consistently drives up and down the strip picking and dropping people up for free, but once again i dont know how far off the strip you are..........

My friends and I booked our hotel kind of late for this break
, so we ended up a little outside the action. How far out do these buses go? We're at Sugar Sands, which is on front beach but about 10 miles away from la vela. If they don't go that far, how pricey are the taxi fares or how bad is parking?

Don't think the bus gose out that far, parking is bad too. I would drive in closer where the bus picks up.

The cab companies give free rides? How does that work?
I guess I'm just concerned with getting down by the major action a few nights a week. All the girls I'm going with (including me) have boyfriends so we are cool with just going to hotel parties and what not, nothing crazy. (unfortunate, i know) |
