Down here, we're hoping to alter our tolerance to the "golden soda" in order to inherit the benefits of abstinence during the break. Saving the $, shrinkin the belly, tempting the crave.
Curious to how others perceived the idea.....Worked like a golden charm in the past- thinkin i've lost my marbles-Just my approach principle of Perseverance

haha thats so funny! thats what me and my friends are doing (well most of them, i have a few alcoholic friends that couldnt do it hehe) we are trying to work out n stay in shape and that means NO BEER OR ALCOHOL!! i haven't gotten realllllly drunk since new years, and only drank a few times after that.... so being in the warm sun, the first drink i take ill prolly get wasted off my ***!! thats the point though ha!

this is sooo freaking funny.
today is actually the day that our sobriety season starts. The guys and i (well, 5 out of 20) decided that we need to work on our tolerance as well as maximize our workouts. So we decided to stop drinking starting today Feb 28th. I woke up this morning with my friend rocking my bed making me get up. It is a gorgeous day here (46 degrees as opposed to the regular -5) and there is not a single cloud in the sky. We went out for a run, had a huge breakfast, then hit the gym for 3 hours. Now i'm in the library studying... but cant stop thinking about spring break. Im so sore... im probably gonna go back to the gym and do Legs with the kids from the track team ahhhhhhhhhhh cant wait... people get ready to have the time of your lives

Creating a crave
Hey joesway...good to hear amigo. I really hadn't planned on doing this to lose weight but it ends up I allready have.
Main purpose for me in doing this is for the mental confidence stand point....."the power from within to "just say no"and schit if you can lose weight and slim up in the process then hell--why would you not? Save some stash--work up your tolerance-- lose a handle.....whatever your reasons. Its workin here:D |

I agree with all. Been hitting the gym constantly, hitting the weights and cardio. Bringing out those abs for the chics. Been having my beer over the weekends though

I'm too damn weak! I try holding out, but when the weekends roll around I just can't resist! I guess I better reach deep down and find some will power, don't wanna be looked over for the next guy! Three weeks of sobriety! I think I can, I think I can...but I agree with Hexxx: Binge Drinking rules!...but hell, it's ruining my gut!

Me and my buddies have been doing the same thing! I havent been drinking much at all lately, so my tolerance will go down. Exept this past friday night 3 of us smashed a half gallon of E&J brandy!! Wow that was a crazy night!! Cant wait to get down there to pcb!!! Only 10 days until we leave!! Enjoy
