Is the *****kat Lounge at LaVelas really that hard to get into? Do they lay back on the dress code a little bit for Spring Break? If not what is a "typical outfit" that you could get in wearing? Is it really that big a deal in there? Thanks for any replies. Holla

To get into the VIP room at La Velas is not that hard. Guys, plain and simple, must be dressed nice. When I say nice, I mean slacks or dress pants and a button down shirt. No t-shirts, no shorts, not even polo shirts work. Nice shoes and no caps. These are their house rules and they are posted outside the *****kat Lounge entrance. Depending on who is there and what night it is also will affect whether or not you get in.

For the ladies the dress code is a little more lax, mainly becuase they want more women in the VIP. If you are a female and you want in, nice club clothes and a sexy smile will usually get you in.

Once in the VIP room, dont act like a jackass or they will boot you right back out. Last year, my friends and I were in there almost everynight we went to La Vela, mainly because it is far less crowded, and the scenery is much better if you know what I mean. Clipse was in the VIP room last year.. and two years ago, Tara Reid was there promoting Van Wilder.. they were very selective on who got in the VIP room that night.

A little hint though for people who want to be VIPs... Drop the door man a $20 spot when you first meet him. From then on out, you will be treated like royalty. Not to mention that when peole see you going into the VIP room, they think woa who is that??? haha

Yup... Eric's right. Plus, no blue jeans... and a way to up your chances of getting in is to bring a girl with you. They try and keep a 50/50 ratio or better in the PKL.

Is this for the other rooms as well? Or can can you be in jeans for other rooms. Sorry probably a stupid question but I am a PCB virgin.

hey eric, in that pic, looks like a restaurant...is it even worth goin up in there...all the vip rooms down here got couches, couple bars, pool tables etc...never seen dining tables or even food in a vip room

You can wear just about anything in La Vela.. Its just in the VIP *******kat lounge that you must meet dress code..

Take a look at CLV's website to see the PKL. Bar, and couches basically... with their best DJ and some cool art on the walls, cool lights.

PKL is the only room with a dress code.

Also, the bartender in the VIP room can make some kick ***** drinks.. you just have toss some $$ his way...

I got in the *****cat lounge with jeans on 2 years ago!! Only cause my ex g/f is a damn Hottie! It was the playboy VIP party for the National Lampoons Vanwilder premier, CRAZY party!!! Tons of celebs, lots of playboy girls, and tons of fun! Although my g/f only wanted to stay in there about 15 minutes after she saw all the ladies in there, so............I did get in with jeans on, but, only cause I was with her!!!! Enjoy
