Well, I'm currently in PCB...and I must say...it's DEAD. Well, at least it was Friday. Just about every hotel had vacancy. There are about 50 guys for every 1 girl...so that leaves plenty of room for a-t-t-i-tude from the girls. Hopefully today (Saturday) will be better. Supposedly, that's when most people will be coming in.

LaVela was packed last night...but the ratio of guys to girls had to be at least 10:1.

The weather has been crappy this weekend, but is supposed to clear up this afternoon.

I'll keep you guys posted, and try to post pics when (if) I can.

Yeah, it was cloudy this morning, but the sun came out after lunch and it's been awesome since then! About 75 degrees!

Fridays and Saturdays are transition days (one group's leaving and another group's arriving), so the clubs can be a little empty on those nights.

There's been a TON of traffic all day today, so I'd say the beaches should be packed this week.

I agree about how dead it was. I just got home from the Sandpiper, which was about the only fun thing to do each night..even though it was more hopping last year-beginning of april. Anyways, the trip was def. fun as hell! But there was just no crazy action because of the lack of people. Can be good and bad. It sucked leaving this saturday morning and seeing 100 times more people arriving!! ooo well, anyways i need sleep...ttyl later

Saturday was definitely better. More people showed up. La Vela was CRAZY. Still a bad ratio of guys to girls...but there were still plenty of women. It was hot as hell in the club...but that's
because everyone was packed into the main (hip hop) room.

Oh,I gotta warn you guys. If you want to get into La Vela for $10, you HAVE to be in line BEFORE 7:00...about 6:45 on Saturdays. La Vela offers $10 from7- 8. BUT...if they don't start letting people in until 7:30. And by that time, the line is long as hell. And guess what?If you're at the door by 8:00...you'll be paying $20 to get in. Bullsh#t right? So, get there early and get your hand stamped...or get a gold card.

I'm surprised that I haven't heard Hotel ONE time at La Vela. I went Friday and Saturday night. (couldn't hang tonight - Sunday)...so I'm relaxing tonight. But - it's back on tomorrow.

OH...one positive today is that the bikinis were out EARLY today. Today was definitely the nicest weather wise out of the 3 days that I've been here. Saturday, it cleared up in the afternoon, and La Vela had their bikini contest. It was kind of weak...not many girls in it...only about 8. But, I'm sure it was much better today.

The streets were somewhat crowded this evening, with people walking around. The hot tubs were full. The beaches were full. Overall, it was a better day. Still not the typical spring break...but it's getting there.

To answer WWW - I met a local, and they agreed to let me use their PC.

Whooo...your first update kinda scared me. Being a 'first timer' at PCB I was beginning to wonder with all the end of spring break stories and stuff. Me of little faith! Sounds like it's picking up! And damn the anticipation is killing me! Enjoy the rest of your trip!

I arrived Wednesday night of last week and it was pretty mellow the first couple nights, but was pretty crazy Friday and Saturday nights. La Vela was packed, lots of stuff going on at the boardwalk.
