I want my MTV : off topic:
I am a subscriber of DISH and Im pissed at the news that they dropped MTV, CBS, Nick (though i no longer watch it). They wanted to save me money? Nah more like ego's got in the way. I also live in an area where DirectTv can get local channels and DISH cannot? So why would I want to stay with DISH? So I can save 10 dollars a month to have 100 channels less and not even have some of the major channels? And all this is worth to DISH is one dollar back to its customers? DO they really thing that I care about 1 dollar and that will make it better? Its a horrible mistake this CEO is making because the loss of Nick and MTV alone will cause subscribers to pay more anyways to get Direct TV or local cable. So for those who choose to stay will end up paying more in the long run to support the loss of new and old customers. Some people need to think before they start saying they are protecting the customers..

I wasn't sure what happened. We have DISH too and I tried turning it to MTV and it said off air - please click info or something like that. On the info screen it gave numbers to Viacom and MTV. If DISH did away with it then why would they put the numbers up to send complaints to? Makes no sense to me...just hope I get MTV back.

Well
Last night I was watching some music video and all of a sudden something started to scroll across the screen saying Echo Star Dish customer please call you company and com........ then it went black!!
They blacked out the whole bottom half of MTV for the rest of the day. DISH didnt want us to know what was happening.. In the end they will lose money from all the people switching over and raise their customer's prices! So whats the point? Im calling today and cancelling and getting DirectTV (which is only 29 for the next 6 months with local channels!) |
