What way is better I-65 through Indiana or I-57 through Illinois? All the Internet map sites say take I-57. On all of my previous trips to Florida my family has always taken I-65. The only thing I can think of is not having to go through Idianapolis, Louisville, and Bowling Green. Let me know because all the people that are driving with us are arguing about which way to take 34 hours and counting WOO-HOO!

AAA planed my route to be I65, so that is what way we are taking.


We are taking 90 to chicago, then around chicago on 90/80, then to I65, before Indianapolis we are stitching to 74 to bypass the city, then back to 65 all the way to montgommery, which is hwy 331 or something.

I would take the route through Illinois. From what I have been told it is faster. It seems we are leaving at the same time. We are all leaving at 6:00

i've gone 3 times now and we've taken both ways...I-65 in my opinion is much better. plus i take 90 from madison through rockford that way you completely avoid chicago. everyone drive safe!

it was our first "road" trip out of the state, and we didnt get lost, it was smooth, no trouble, the yahoo directions were flawless.
