Thanks for the great pics Sexyman and others!
I was wondering about snapping pictures inside/outside clubs? Are cameras allowed inside? Have you encountered any issues with security? I have an older Kodak digital cam that I would love to bring and have a few flash cards but even though it is an older cam with a few scratches I'd hate to lose it!! My rule of thumb in travel is to never bring what you can't afford to lose! I WON'T be bringing my newest cam! I'd love to document some good memories of the trip but don't want any hassle or encounter any hostile people-- or worse yet get it confiscated -ha! Maybe I should just bring a disposable camera? Nor do I want to look like a voyeur! I carry a business (Computer tech) card that has my e-mail address so I could always mail pics back to anyone that I snap and it wouldn't be a problem. What are your thoughts on taking pics? |

My philosophy on taking pictures is...why not? Most of these people will never see you again anyway. For the most part, people enjoy being photographed, but every once in a while, you'll get an azzhole who think she's too good to be photographed. But that's rare. Like I said...many people will even pose for the camera.
As far as security...clubs don't care if you bring still cameras in. You can't bring camcorders in though. The bouncers don't bother you, unless you're harrassing someone who doesn't want their picture taken. Some reccomendations...if you're going to take an expensive camera in the club...make sure you secure it with a wrist strap, because you will get bumped, and possibly drop it. If you're taking your camera to a wet tshirt contest...or to the pool...or hot tub...make sure you have a way of protecting that camera from water. You won't have a problem taking pictures. For the best results...just ask the person, "Hey, can I take a picture with or of you?" And for the most part, they'll say yeah. I've only had one person tell me no in 3 years. |

Yeah good advice. Good advice about asking, that's respectful asking for permission first.
But I let guys take pictures knowing, hopefully actually that I won't see'em again. I know not to let ppl from my hometown take pics of me in case I bump into them and hear them say "Hey, your the girl that...". But yeah, I "posed" for alot of cameras. It's just fun seeing guys get so hyped up. . But o'well I don't mind.
