Beer!
It's a commom perception here in GBR that the beer in america is like having sex in a canoe! (ie. F@*king close to water).
The beer we all drink over here is all continal strength lagers between 5-6% abv. Will we have to drink our own bodyweights of coors lite!?!? to reap any benifits at all?? it'll be good to know so can get some practice in. If you drink Michelob, Budweiser, or an ice beer (bud ice, icehouse, etc.) it is about the same stength. The light(lite) beers(bud light, milller lite, any carb friendly beer) are only about 3% or so. Most keg beer here is the light(lite) version(for the $20 all you can drink for 4 or 6 hours during the day).
The only think you have to worry about is if you go to a different state. Some states limit the percentage on the stonger beers. I believe Alabama's Budweiser is 3.2% or something like that. BTW Coors light sucks (just my opinion) Last edited by gomer_3333; October-11th,2004 at 08:52 AM. |

I Just picked Coor lite out of the air as a particularly gay sounding beer, I think we will stick to the ice beers for a degree of familiarity.
Although, I am bringing an 11 GALLON beer funnel, the whole thing empties in around 1 min though 8 hoses, so a ligher beer may be necesarry! only 142 days to go before th brits take panama beach!!!!!! J |

I didn't say that, I said It empties in about a minute though 8 pipes!! I have never seen the full capacity done
The best I have seen is around about 2/3 full with a tag team of 12 people subbing in and out. Its very messy a a lot of fun. I have some pics somewhere I will post them. Not sure what the over suspicious US airport security will think but I will be packing it up and bringing across the pond. If anyone is around days inn between 5th-12th march you will definitly see it in action, is a belter!! J |

that is possibly the coolest thing I have ever seen. I'm saving that picture to my computer and printing it on a flag and hanging it on a pole next to my house. Not really, but still, that looks awesome. It should be in the guiness book of beer records. can i get a picture with it?
