The Latest Lavela Rumor - Could This One Be True?

Rumors are swirling around once again concerning a popular Panama City Beach night-spot. This time, however, those in the know aren't denying them.

A Club LaVela spokesperson says the Super Club's owners are in final talks with a buyer.

There is some speculation Lavela's owners, the Pfeffers, plan to sell the facility and move the Club to another Panama City Beach location, possibly on four-lane section of Front Beach Road.

The Thomas Drive gulf-front site where Lavela now sits could be developed into a resort or condo project

For now, the owners are remaining quiet telling NewsChannel Seven an official announcement is to come in the next few weeks.

Well, I figured this would happen, just hope nothing gets started until after spring break! It would be a shame for people to miss out on club lavela this year on spring break!! Enjoy

I just talked to CLV's Director of Marketing and they will DEFINITELY be here for Spring Break 2005. He said that the entire article mentioned above was based on statements taken out of context.
