A great hotel with a decent price would be the Chateau. You can read my post for details on that. The price there varies from about $110-130 a night. If you want to go cheaper than that, your best best is stay at a hotel that isn't located on the beach. There was the Plaza Motel that was across the street. It was still on the strip, but not on the beach. I'm not even sure if that place is still around. Otherwise, there's a Travelodge located a couple of miles off the beach that's pretty cheap. There's ton off cheap motels around there, I just don't know all the names of them. I would try to scrape the money together to stay on the beach if you can, it's definitely worth it. You'd still have fun somewhere else, you would just have to go somewhere else to party 'cause you wouldn't have many people to party with at your hotel.

There will still be a lot of breakers that week. There should be rooms still available at this point. I wouldn't wait too long though. In my personal opinion, I would not stay at the Holiday Inn. I've stayed at both the Holiday Inn and the Chateau and I had a lot more fun at the Chateau. Plus it's about $100 a night cheaper. The negatives of the Holiday Inn is it doesn't have a good location. You are not near any bars. You can barely walk to any of them. Plus security is really tight. You will not be able to bring someone in who is not a guest. There will be a lot of people staying there which is pretty cool and the beach is happenin' during the day, but so are a lot of other places. If you want to spend that kind of money, stay at the Boardwalk, not the Holiday Inn. The Boardwalk is much better.
