I dont know if anyone has heard yet or not, but Club LaVela has been sold. It's going to be torn down and built into condominiums. There isnt much left of a spring break town in panama city, they've turned the town into the "rich mans" vacation... sorry yall.... i dont know how much longer La Vela will be open but hopefully long enough for one more good year of spring breakers... A close second is Destin, Florida... right down the road from PC.... well hit me back

That's too bad - although, I guess a place as big as that, who's main income relies mostly on one month a year is always going to trip up sooner or later. We're all just going to have to do our best to lower the tone and quash this new idea of a rich mans paradise - HOO YEAAHH!

Well..........from what Ive heard from several people that live in Pcb, lavela will be there for spring break, and probably for awhile after that!! PCB will be rockin once again this year for spring break, and probably for a few years to come!! No matter what happens to that place, I have some crazy stories to tell my kids one day!! Crazy stories!! Thanks PCB, ILL miss you this year, but.........Im on to bigger and better things......CANCUN!! Enjoy

How difficult is it to get into the "***** kat lounge". The website says dress to impress but I get the impression its not simply wearing a suit jacket.

I wouldn't say I was a high rollin' VIP, but I can certainly make the effort if it means mixing with top heavy lovlies and celebs!!!!

It's not tough to meet the dress code... basically no jeans or shorts or t-shirts. The real issue is that capacity is limited. Best bet is to find some hot girls to bring with you when you try to get in. The bouncers try to keep an even M to F ratio in the PKL.

Ive been in the ***** Cat lounge, 2 times, the first time was during the National Lampoons VIP party a few years back! My g/f at the time was Miss Ball State, a Knock out to say the least, I had jeans on and a nice shirt, but he looked at her and we got right it. No problem at all. The other time I got in was last year. I was with this chick, she was pretty good looking, again, I was wearing jeans, we walked right it. Its pretty sweet in there, there is a stripping pole, couches everywhere, and a nice lil bar. Its a nice lil time!! So....good luck, it can be done!! Enjoy

Club La Vela is officially closing, we will be here for Spring Break 2005. After spring break we will be closing......all that means is one crazy *** party!!!! This will be the hottest spring break ever!
