I know many of you are making reservations for your hotel. I'm telling you now to look no further than the Chateau. It is a popular spring break hotel located in the center of the strip, right in the middle of the action. Security is very easy going there, and they'll let you get away with pretty much anything you want. You will never have a problem taking someone back to your room. They provide you with wristbands, but I've stayed there three years and I never once wore mine. They are located directly next to Harpoon Harry's and Latitudes and 3 doors down from Hooter's. This is great because both Latitudes and Harry's have free re-entry and if you are under 21, you can take the 30 second walk back to your room, hit up some shots, and be back in no time. Best of all, The Chateau is pretty cheap. It ranges from $110-$130 a night depending on what room you want. Plus, I don't really want to encourage you do this, but we always booked for 3 people and put 4 or 5 in our room. This way it's cheaper and they never found out. Just don't come back to me if you get caught. The Chateau is a little bit older of a hotel, but they have a great setup and the rooms are nice. The hotel is a semi-circle sorrounding the pool which is pretty cool, and it blocks the wind which is nice.

I'm not saying that the other hotels suck, but they get pretty expensive. I've been to the Boardwalk and it's pretty nice. I never stayed there, I just visited. Just don't stay at the Holiday Inn. I stayed there one year and I hated it. The security is really tight and the location sucks.

by what month or period does the chateu usually book full?

Some weeks they fill, some they don't. We have never booked before January. If you go to their website and it says they have no rooms available, just call. They should rooms available right now. I wouldn't wait too long though.

I totally agree with you! I've been going to PCB for spring break for the past four years and me and my friends always stay at the Chateau. It is definitely the party place. We love it because we can pretty much do what we want and get away with it. We've also done the thing where you only put 3 people down as staying in your room but you really have 5 or 6. We never wear our bracelets either and they don't say anything to us. So, the Chateau is the place to stay!

I've stayed at the chateau for 3 years in a row it is the place to be it's cheap as hell and the security is never seen. I'll be down there march 12 be me and about 20 of my closest friends so if anytone wants to party that week hit me up at skpioneer07@aol.com. Get a little drinking contest going oon or whatever.

I just called for reservations for the Chateau, and their all booked for anything except for their beach front efficiency. Which for 5 people they still want over a grand for 5 nights. No price drop compared to the Sunspree. I would expect a little drop in price per night for the Chateau but guess not. This is for March 27-April 1st too.

you might wanna call back. when I first called, I got a girl a named Christina and she said that's all they had too. I called back like 5 minutes later and a guy answered and he said that it wasn't true. They had all types available.

I called first time talked to some chic, then called an hour later and talked to some guy. They both said all they had left was the Beach front Efficiency from March 27-April 1st.

I found that the earlier you book, the cheaper the price. We usually book during December, and we get the beach front efficiency room for $130. They do jack their prices up a lot once it gets closer to March. It's kind of ridiculous.
