Officials Campaign For Spring Break 2005
By: Kira Mathis (kmathis@wmbb.com) News 13 On Your Side Tuesday, January 25, 2005 Panama City Beach- The Panama City Beach Tourist Development Council has put $400,000 into this year's Spring Break campaign. They are distributing a million brochures to about 150 college campuses to drive students to the Spring Break website. They are focusing their efforts on the last week of February and the first week of March. Those are usually the slowest for hotels. Officials say that internet activity on the website is up 60%. |
