It depends on if you are gonna go to LaVela a lot. If you are than it is worth it. For me it wouldn't be worth it 'cause there are other clubs I like more than LaVela. It is a good deal if you go there a lot, but you are kinda restricted to going to LaVela. There are a lot of good clubs in PCB, and I'd recommend visiting more than just LaVela especially if it's your first time down there.

Later,

yo, la vela VIP cards are $20 right now for locals, so they shouldn't be much more for outta-towners, but the earlier you get them, they cheaper they will be! after you pay to get in, walk through the front doors (thunderdome area), go up the stairs (sky bar) and you can get them there! For price specifics, call 850-235-1061.

I don't see why not since they don't laminate your picture on them or anything, just hope the bartender doesn't start to recognize your local friend constantly buying them. He will also have to pay to get in without his VIP, because they have a different stamp for VIPs and regular Spring Breakers, so the bartender would wonder why he wants another one.

I'd like to know that myself. I went up to La Vela tonight and they tried to charge me 10 to get in, and said it would be another 40 to even get in the VIP room! I think they thought I was some out-of-towner idiot who had "sucker" written all over me. I'm a local who just moved here and I have a Florida DL.

How and when can I even get a VIP card for $20? Am I too late?

Icon10 VIP card available on website

Hey, I just looked on clublavela.com, and I did see the VIP card available (on sale for $30, and Platinum card {don't have to wait in line} is available for $65).

I don't think you're talking about the right card. The one you're talking about works at places other than La Vela. The one I'm looking for only works at La Vela and guarantees VIP entrance (I could care less about the VIP room!) and free cover when a special event isn't happening.

Update on La Vela VIP Cards. They're now being sold in the Gift Shop. After you make it through the front gate, go right towards the pool area and look to your right for the gift shop. Get em while they're cheap!
