Thanks for the informative response, troll.

It's located next to the Best Western Casa Loma at the "Y". Is this a good location? The room I'm looking at actually is a 2 room suite with 3 beds.

Sorry, you asked for a quick opinion on the Fiesta Motel. Judging by the name and the fact I've never heard of it....I'd say it isn't the best place, but I could be wrong.

It's okay, you've got Lattitudes, Hooters, and Harpon Harry's down that way. You're quite a ways away from Spinnaker, La Vela etc.

Have you actually stayed there or know of it by other means? I really like the fact that it has 3 beds since we'll have 5 people and it has a kitchen. The Chateau actually has rooms available but only 2 beds and you have to provide your third and its $40 more per person.

I've found the Days Inn available as well.

Can anyone give any opinions on the Travelodge or Coconut Grove? Thanks.

I haven't stayed there, but it looks run down from the outside. Id choose days inn or chateau over the rest. more people there... a little nicer hotel.

Right, but my friends are cheap asses and $259 vs. $219 is stretching it. Then they see the Travelodge for about $150 a person total and no way I'm convincing them to spend an extra $100 to stay at the Chateau. What about the Travelodge or Coconut Grove? And aren't there shuttles anyways if I were down at the Fiesta and wanted to go to the superclubs?

We're on a budget and the fact that it has a kitchen means we can take frozen pizzas, hotpockets, stuff like that and not spend a buttload on food. Also nice to have a fridge for the beer.

I can book the Days Inn for a similar price, but do those have a hideaway beds or what for a fifth person?

Neither of those 2 places are on the beach. They are about one mile away. Staying at a place that is a good time is worth the extra money. I definitely wouldn't stay at a place that isn't directly on the beach(Travelodge or Coconut Grove).

You can get from one end of the beach to the other pretty cheap or even for free. Someone posted about Christain groups giving rides for free, and they even let you drink on the way. I wouldn't know though, I usually take a taxi.

I don't know how the Days Inn accomodates the extra person, sorry.

I did a mapquest search on directions and Harpoon Harry's is .86 miles from the Fiesta, less than a 15 minute walk, Hooter's and Lattitudes being even closer. Location seems fine, and the fact that its a motel would have you believe you can take people (girls) back if you want.

I've never been to PCB so not sure totally what to expect, but I've heard from people that say partying at the hotel is half the fun, and others that say the only time you spend there is passed out or getting ready to go out. But considering my restrictions (price), I think that this is the best I can do. On the beach, 3 beds, Kitchen, not far from some great clubs. If I'm missing something let me know.

I myself have never stayed there. As someone else said, it doens't look really nice from the outside. It isn't terribly close to any bars, but Harry's, Latitude's, and Hooter's are a walkable distance so that's decent. I think partying at the hotel is half the fun and the people that say otherwise stay at crappy hotels. A great hotel isn't essential to have fun and if your friends are cheap, then staying at the Fiesta isn't gonna ruin your trip. You'd be much better off staying there then the Travelodge or something off the beach. You definitely should stay somewhere on the beach and if the Fiesta is the best you or your buddies can afford, then go for it. If your hotel sucks party wise, the Chateau is just down the strip so grab a case a beer and go party there. Otherwise Harpoon Harry's usually has stuff going on during the day too.

Later,

STEVE-O
