hello all, i am wondering if the Beachcomber is gonna be a good hotel to stay at. we are coming down between the 14th and the 20th, is this a pretty hopping hotel and how far is it from all the action, i came for senior week a few years back and stayed at the chateau but there all booked up
any info will be great

the beachcomber is all the way on the other side of the beach, it doesn't even show up on most of the party maps

the beachcomber is pretty nice - i've been there. definitely nicer than most of the popular ones most people are staying at. if you go east down front beach, it's only like a 10 minute drive to all the beach action, and ya might even find some on the way, so no biggie. Plus, if you go west, you'll see the Sandpiper Beacon hotel and the "Tiki Bar" is right behind it, which I personally think is the best club during spring break, especially for a good pole-to-hole ratio.

anybody know of the security at the beachcomber??... we have some friends also on break and want to know if they will be able to come in and hang out with us... we figure it wont be that big of a deal just because it is far from the 'action.'
