Name some cheap good restaurants in PCB

Looking for some restaurants for those with us on a low budget for food, also if there are some special plates or days to go to these restaurants please list them as well, thanks.

Pizza Hut has a buffet everyday for around $5. It's absolute heaven for a hangover. We went there almost everyday. That's all I know of for cheap eats other than the fast food chains.

It's down at the other end of the strip. It's on Front Beach Road down by Sharky's and Best Western Casa Loma and stuff. I don't remember exactly how far down, but it's down there somewhere. It's a must do.

I'm not sure of the hours but I know it runs all afternoon. I don't know if it continues into dinnertime or not.

There is an old fashion style restaraunt, down by bikini beach hotels called something like steaks shakes and pancakes, the breakfast there is good and cheap.....Hangover relief. Salty's is a good place for descent priced food also...

Salty's is closed. Another victim of development and growth.

Los Rancheros (in the Edgewater shopping center on Front Beach) has awesome Mexican food for as little as $3. Their lunch specials are great!

Scampy's has pretty good lunch specials... from $4 up to about $8. Thomas Drive near Schooners.

On Wednesdays you should go to Bayou on the Beach Cafe for their lunch special - Steak Tips and Rice, green beans, french bread, and drink... all for $5 incl. tax. They are at the curve on Thomas Drive (near Treasure Ship, but across the road).

Frankie D's has the best pizza in the world and is pretty cheap if a few people go in on a large pizza. Just don't fill up on the free peanuts. Thomas Drive near ShowNTail.

I'll probably think of some more later...

Rock'it Lanes in the Shoppes at Edgewater (across from the Holiday Inn SunSpree) has a deal where you get a coke, fries, and an awesome grilled cheese for like 4$

I'm gonna have to second that recommendation on Frankie D's. everytime I'm in PCB I make it a point to get some pizza from there. I can't really answer on the deals/coupons @ hotels there... sorry.

No deals this time of year amigo. This is when the local hoteleries make enough to cover the expenses for a good part of the year. As for the rest of the season, the best place to look is on-line or call the hotels themselves, try a site like expedia.com too. After SB is over there's a lull followed by the big push from late May through mid July. Then it tales off. You can sometimes find deals for mid-to-late August and into September, of course, you're always gambling on hurricanes that time of the year.

I'll third that recommendation on Frankie D's as well. Great ambiance as well.
