Any of the moderators know what the deal with with La Vela??? I read on their website to ignore the rumors and they will be open for springbreak 06. Seems kinda weird how this is the exact same thing that they were saying last year at this time. This will be our 4th year in a row coming down to pcb for springbreak and dont really go to lavela much but also heard that harpoon harry's was closing last year so we might have to. So did this condo deal fall through then or are they still planning to close sometime. I figure that in a years time they would have some kind of deal worked out regarding it.

Also wondering if its true that last springbreak was the last one for Harpoon Harry's and Lattitudes?

I had an amazing time in PCB last year, I just hope it's as good this time round. What's the word on the ground in America?

La Vela will definitely be open for Spring Break. The deal they had for the first set of condo's fell through. Harpoon Harry's and Breakers are closing this month or next for good but, there are a few other places that have opened in the last year or two to take HH's place. Buck Wild is one, Coyote Uglies is another.

So spring break should still be a good time.

You boys are going to LOVE BuckWild if you havn't been there yet, Spinnaker and La Vela will still be packed and bumpin', and all the other craziness that you guys love about Panama City will still be in full effect...

Where is Buckwild located at? I loved Harpoon Harry's gonna be sad to see it closed, it was one hell of a walk from the Boardwalk but always a great time.

Buckwild is located on Thomas Drive, maybe 1.5 miles from the Boardwalk. It's going to be slammed for Spring Break. Inside there's a DJ, and live music outside with a balcony that overlooks Thomas Drive...that's also where you have to go to get the Fat Tuesday daiquiris, and it's a sweet setup. I've heard that the owner is going to add some additional tents outside to create even more room for dance floors, stages, etc. during Spring Break.

Nice to see this place is picking up a bit, I'm getting in the mood already.
