Hi guys,
I've got a little cash stashed away and have always admired how you Yanks party when Spring Break comes around. As such I've booked some time off work and studies and am going to fly out to the US to partake in Spring Break. I've decided I want to hit PCB so wanted some advice: 1. Which airport should I fly into? 2. Any hotel/hostel/accomodation recommendations? Or does anyone want a friendly male roomate? 3. I'm coming alone (no other mates have the cash to travel 12,000 miles to party) so does anyone wanna hook up for a drinking sesh/ party? I'm planning on flying out on March 1st and heading back here to Cold Wales on either the 8th or 10th of March! So there it is, if you can answer my questions please do, if you wanna give me any other advice or are planning on being there then and would like to meet for a beer or four let me know. Thanks, Ian

Ian,
Don't mean to kill your dreams about partying in the USA or anything but it aint like it looks on TV or on those Girls Gone Wild videos. THe women that are featured on those are the best looking -- probably only 1 in 60,000 women look that way here. What you see mostly are cliques of 4 or more friends that kinda keep to themselves or they group up with other cliques of 4 or more to party. If you are serious about going just wait until you can get a group together of about 4 or 5 friends from your hometown. Otherwise if you are gonna go totally alone I can tell you that it will be a major expense and I don't think u will have that good of a time. Instead of going alone to the USA to 'Score' or see some hot women u are better off instead of going alone to go to a local bar or other place near you that has a lot of young people your own age. Then if you have a bad time you won't have to travel 10,000 miles back home disappointed. Not to say that you won't blend into a group here--and the people are friendly, but the odds would be more in your favor of having a super time if you were part of a group yourself. Matter of fact I can guarantee you WOULD have fun in a group because there are a lot of fun things to do in PCB and St. Andrews Park and some swimming or jetski tour would be a heck of a lot of fun. It sucks to feel like a stranger and have no one to talk to. If I were you that's what I'd do. Do it right the first time! Just my two cents. |

I don't know where you've been going out during spring break, TravelByShipMICH but it more like 1 in 20 for the girl ratio for extremely hot girls. It's probably 1 in 5 for attractive (not quite hot but still attractive) girls.
And if you're an out going person and you meet groups of people where you're staying at, you can have the time of your life. Last edited by gomer_3333; January-16th,2006 at 08:49 AM. |
