Boardwalk Beach Hotel
I've got a group of 12 coming down from Michigan, we're stayin at the Boardwalk Beach hotel, March 4-10. From what I've heard from other people and from what I've read on this forum, its seems like there are mixed reviews of the hotel. I know that it is located near La Vila and Spinnakers... but thats about it. Has anyone stayed there before? How are they with drinking? My group is mixed with people over 21 and also under 21. Hopefully they won't give us any problems. If anyone has any feedback, I'd love to know more... thanks.
I'm so excited for SB it is ridiculous. |

This is gonna be our 4th year in a row staying at the Boardwalk, up until last year we never had any problems with security and drinking. Last year we went with a group of 8 and only 1 was under 21. Security caught him on the balcony and took his wristband and kicked him off the property. Anyways he came back to our room and we got him a new wristband for $10. I suggest closing your curtains also when you are drinking because after 5 or so security last year was walking the halls and looking in windows and if they saw anyone with a under 21 wristband on they came in your room and you had 2 options. 1. They kicked you out of the hotel on the spot or 2. dump all your alcohol out in front of them and sign papers saying if the person under 21 is caught again or anything happens to him down there you are responisble and get arrested. Besides all that **** when it comes to hotels the Boardwalk is the place to be. The beach behind there is packed during the day and unlike the other hotels that claim they are the best they dont have mtv or the amount of things to do right out back.

The past 3 years that I have stayed there we havent had a kitchen once, and all of the rooms we have partied in didnt have one either. Im pretty sure the most that you will get is a refrigerator (had a full size fridge once) and a microwave.

There are two different buildings and you never know which one you are gonna get until you check in. One of the buildings you have your own personal balcony and the other building next door the whole thing is basically a balcony. If you get a room facing the ocean your hallway or whatever u wanna call it to get to your room is open and is like a balcony but if i remember right they didnt let you have chairs out there last year. Both of the buildings have two double beds and then a set of bunk beds so 4 ppl in the 2 beds and then one on the top bunk and the other on the bottom bunk.
