me and four of my lovely girls are coming to panama city beach for spring break. it's gonna be our first time there... soo we really don't know what to expect.

so where are the hot spots at?

we don't really want to rent a car... so what's the best way to get around? taxi?? or, is everything fairly close to where we can probably just walk around?

As far as your ride goes, we did the taxi thing the first year, then rented an SUV last year. We drove everyday... goin' to clubs, gettin' dinner.

Taxis are not readily available and you'll have to call ahead; most of the time the wait is 20 minutes to a half hour, sometimes longer. Our average fare (from 2 years ago) was $7 a person + tip.

An SUV is costing us $300 this year for 8 days- March 14-21. If you decide to rent, do it in PCB not at the airport (if you want to save some bucks).

Hot spots = Spinnaker, Club Lavela, Harpoon Harry's (in no particular order)

Bottom line: If you're riding everyday the rent-a-car is worth it. Then again you could be within walking distance to where you want to be.

we'll be staying close to the chateau i think... but i'm still not sure what we're doing yet. none of us want to drive because we heard traffic is bad. so most likely we'll be using the taxi. thanks for the advice though guys! ;)

Yeah, girls can also get rides pretty much anywhere too. As long as you don't mind creepy guys. Walking you will always have the guys yelling too and asking, so just find somebody you like and get a ride to the other side of the strip. Last year, there was a group of about 6 of us and two girls and their aunt stopped to pick us all up. What can I say, we bring it. Anyways we will probably have my friends truck, our roommates car, and my car. So we will be well off. Especially when we know PC so good.

traffic is really bad at night because everyone likes to cruize and what not. a lot of guys and girls don't mind giving people lifts, so i wouldn't worry about transportation down there. it's so easy, and since you are all girls like my self... work it! haha (just be careful!!)

We are there for the 18-25th of March. The bus will drive us all around while we are down there.

March 18-25 right here baby, all the way from Chicago! I was starting to think we would be the only ones down there this week, but ya'll sound crunk as hell (I mean you did buy a whole van for springbreak). Anyway, can you hook me up on details so we can rent a house? Any connects, info, etc.?

Yeah, I bought the van for the trip, and for my website promotion crew to drive around in. How many people are coming with you? we could work something out if you wanted to stay with us. I have more than enough people who want to go, but everyone has not confirmed yet.

we also shoot a video the whole week of the trip and produce it for the people who go down/friends.

PCB is great, you just have to do it right.

Well there is about 12 of us. Pretty wild crew. What area is your house in? Maybe we can find a house nearby and we can all hook up and party together. That'll be fun as hell. I've gone on VRBO, but like I said before, I don't know the area, so I have no idea where to look.

some of the best houses ore right off of thomas drive. Look online at maps.google.com and find where club Lavela and spinnakers are. the houses near that are better.
