Yes! I second that motion. I can't really handle tooooo much rock music and techno unless I am reeeeaaal drunk. I'm all for the mixture (but more hip hop/reggae preferrably)

Pretty much all the clubs play hiphop and top 40 type stuff. Harpoon Harry's, Latitudes, Hammerhead Fred's, LaVela, and Spinnaker's all play hip-hop music. They might throw in a techno/dance song every once in a while, but it's mainly hip-hop at the clubs down there. LaVela does have a theme room that is strictly techno.

That's cool. I've been to other places for Spring break and they play like all techno and may throw in a hip hop or pop song in. It's nice to know that it'll be different down there.

Serious. Alot of crunk music has been known to start fights and riots due to its violent lyrical content and offensive nature. They don't play a lot of music depicting gang violence. Patrons aren't allowed to wear jerseys. They are allowed to wear hats, however. They might play a little Lil John and Ying Yang Twins now and then and some other crunk songs but not the violent stuff. The DJ's aren't allowed to take requests for Crunk and Southern Hip Hop.

Aight, but they still play hip hop right? I just mean good music that's not rock or techno. That music is cool, but just not too much, especially rock. I can do techno if I'm INCREDIBLY drunk, but after a while it gives me a headache. I understand the violent stuff, but most good club songs aren't violent

Yeah. I only mentioned Crunk music in this thread because in the Thunderdrome, they have a sign on the DJ Booth that says 'Do not request Crunk/Southern Hip Hop'

Damn I hate reggaeton. They play some. All the DJs hate reggaeton. That's one thing we all have in common. Reggaeton is for the ladies. So yeah, you'll hear reggaeton.
