Here Spring Breakers - I know you will need to eat

Top Places to Eat
Ok, now the list below is my personal opinion. I am 40 years old and I have been going to Panama City since I was 16 years old, so I am familiar with the area......at least I think I am. These are in no particular order.

Sweet Basil - We always eat here first night in PC. Not sure if it is simply tradition, because it is close to our condo or if the food is really that good. Actually the food is very good and the price is very reasonable. Can not lose here.

Chicago Dawg - Bring back Dawgs to the condo for a quick lunch. We.....or I should say I like them. Again, close to our condo, so it is easy for us to get there.

Montego Bay - We do not eat here much really - I have had the best ribs I have ever had here, but also I have had the worse ribs I have ever had here. The worst was my last time I had eaten here. Probably just a bad day, but I am afraid to get them again.

Sonny's - Up until the last couple trips, I would only order a gallon of baked beans to bring back to our unit. Now, I eat in the restaurant. I am very impressed with the food and the price is very reasonable. This place is now one of the places we eat at.

Breakers - Great food, expensive and great view. I was getting ready to tell a sad story about it being gone and decided I had better check first, lickily I did because it looks like they will be open one more season...oh my wife is going to be sooooo happy. Me too I guess, worth dinner!

Beach BBQ - Great food, people, but for some reason it is closed .

Hooters - Only have good food, atmosphere is bad. haha. Actually I have to admit I go to order wings to bring back and I drink a couple beers while waiting. Not sure wife will like but I do. Wings are OK I guess

Boars Head - Only eaten there one time but the food was fantastic, price a little salty but I expected that. Kinda long from our unit but we need to go there again.

Calypso - I used to really like this place. Was turning to a favorite. The food I ordered was very very good, but the quantity was really low. Not much of it and I wanted more for it being $20 or so. Have not eaten here for a couple trips. Very cool place and I am probably harsh on it. Worth a dinner.

Saltwater Grill - Eaten there a couple times. Good atmosphere, food good but not rememberable. Can not bash it but not on my list where I have to go. Would be a filler when needed though.

Dirty Dicks - Eaten once there as a filler - Food ok but probably will not eat there again. No reason, just more preferred places.

Palapa (Edgewater Beach Resort) -Good food, good view, prices starting to get kinda high. Have to put this one done because we own a condo here so we gotta show our support.

Los Rancheros (Edgewater Plaza) Can not remember the name but we always eat here. Really good food and nice prices.

Buddys Seafood - First stop entering PC - Gotta get my Shrimp Cocktail. Very good, a lot of money (3 lbs first stop.....yes, I do go back) but worth it. Bring is back and peel them get my cocktail sauce made (gotta have a lot of horse radish) and I am set.

Ruthie T's - Very good food. A little expensive but worth it. Always stop by.

Pineaplle Willy's - You know, I have eaten there two times. Both times the ribs were very very very good, but you get like 6 pieces for 20 bucks or so. Good ribs but way too expensive for what you get. Probably never taste them again.

Schooners - Good food, great atmosphere, great bands. Always go here. Wish they would go back to their original chips and salsa though. The new salsa is...........very very bad. At least I think so. So does my wife. But overall, we always go here and have a great time.

Treasure Ship - Yes, we have children so we gotta go here. Actually the food is pretty good, but expensive.

Hamiltons - My Wife's favorite restaurant. She was very upset with the tornado situation. Not my personal favorite and can do without. Food ok , but too expensive I thought.

Captain Anderson's - Eaten here quite a bit and the atmosphere has really gotten better, nice place. Food pretty good and expensive.

Boatyard - Only eaten here one time. Food was OK, bands were not so OK. We need to give this place another chance. Like Schooners better though.

Bayou Bills - Wife really likes it. It is OK with me. Not bad but can go to panama city without eating here.

Angelos - Really good food, but we do not eat here much. Not into the steak scene probably but if you like steaks, you can not go wrong here.

Boon Docks - Eaten there one time. Quite a distance so we will probably not eat there again. Food was pretty good and unique place.

Fish Stock - Not a favorite but may be for some people. Food OK, atmospher needs some work.

Frankie D's - I really like their pizza, wife not a big fan. Always or to do and sit in there waiting for pizza- Nice atmosphere inside.

Hammerhead Freds - Been eating here recently - We like it, will probably continue eating here.

Mikato - Really fun time here and the food was very good and filling. Kids like it, we like it and we will go again.

Pompanos - Eaten here about 10 years ago and did not like it. Tried it again recently as a filler and we liked it. We will continue eating here. Really good food.

Uncle Earnies - Pretty good food, eaten here a couple time recently. Use it as a filler. Pretty outside view. Kids like to feed the cats running around.

I usually don't look past good old Pizza Hut for lunch. They have a lunch buffet everyday for 5 bucks or so, and nothing cures a hangover like some greasy pizza. I think the best food I had down there was at Pineapple Willy's. They've got lots of big screen t.v.s too if you happen to be down there during NCAA Tourney time and want to watch a game. I ate at Laguna Grill once too, and I was not impressed.

haha the best place to eat is at the all you can eat for free pancake breakfeast held by the christian people. It's great food, they'll even drive you there, but they "indirectly" preach to the whole time. haha this is a quote from the website that organizes it.

"God's Word tells us there is no where to flee from the Lord's presence. Yet every year, thousands of students make an attempt to escape in exchange for a temporary fix. No tests. No parents. No professors. No rules. At spring break Panama City Beach, anything goes. It is a heartbreaking scene"

haha funny stuff. Will Sin for food!
