Is club lavela really that bad and not worth the money? Is there cover during the day too? What is the best club to go to down there?

Is club lavela really that bad? Is there cover during the day? What are the best clubs to go to i am hearing so many different things that i dont know who to believe!!!

ahahahah well maybe now that the busy weeks are starting it might be worth it but i do reccoment that IF you go there get there EARLY and then get the stamp to come back in later. i mean the D4L concert was amazing i must admit but the drinks are horribly over priced and the beer is not waiting in line for. Im not saying la leva isnt worth goign because thats where everyone goes for some reason but its not MY club of choice. Spinnaker was dead at the beginning of the week but started to pick up and the bouncers are way nicer as well. my friends went to the pubcrawl and one bus got stuck in the sand and only hit up 2 places with NO REFUND. same as the foam party my friends bought tickets and then they cancelled it NO REFUND. But im sure thats not going to happen during the peak weaks but it still pissed me off. and the boardwalk security lives up to its hype. Our spring break was the same time as the french canadians and i saw 7 boardwalk security guys empty out numerous rooms and the next morning i saw at least 10 people on the street corner sleeping on their luggage. but if ur overage ur fine..if ur underage just stick to drinkin at the beach and inside your room withthe door closed. even with all that **** happening i still had the best spring break ever!..or so i think..ahah i cnat really remember.

Last night (Tuesday March 8, 2006) I tagged along with the Club Hour crew on a shoot.

We went on the pub crawl, which stopped at 5 bars. It started at Harpoon Harry's, then Sharky's, then Coyote Ugly, then Hammerhead Fred's, and finally Spinnaker.

I'd have to say that that was the most fun I've had during Spring Break. It started a little slow, but by the time we left the second bar (Sharky's) it was pure craziness on the buses.

Here's some pic's to tide you over until the Club Hour crew edit's the footage. We'll put that on the website as soon as it's done (hopefully that only take a day or two).

Today has been a little cloudy and about 65 degrees. Looks like we'll get a little rain tonight or tomorrow from a small front pushing through, but then it's right back to sunny and 75 degrees!

Hawthorne Heights and Juelz Santana are on the mtvU stage right now.

Foam Party and Thong Contest tonight at Club La Vela.

Ladies Night at Spinnaker tonight, so you can expect a big crowd.

The beach crowds are growing daily... especially near the Superclubs and MTV stage.

The strip (Front Bch Rd) is packed at night, with breakers cruising on their way to the parties. Traffic can be at a standstill at times, so if you're in a hurry, avoid Front Beach Rd... use Middle Beach or Back Beach (see map).

Look for the Beach TV, Club Hour and TripSmarter.Com crews on the beach and in the clubs. Come up and tell us you're a TripSmarter member and we'll film you for TV and give you t-shirts or any other free stuff we happen to have with us.

We're trying to get the videos from Tuesday's Pub Crawl up for you guys... plus, we have plans to film this Tuesday's Pub Crawl, too!

A new group of breakers will be arriving tomorrow and Sunday. We'll be out shooting more this weekend, with plans to visit Spinnaker and Sharky's Beach Bashes on Tuesday, along with our 2nd Pub Crawl (which, by the way, we found out is just $25!!!! highly recommended!!!)

i also was there and la vela to me was the best club, maybe cause I got vip for free, the panamaniac card is ok i personally didnt like to keep seeing the same folks everyday so i went to other clubs where more SB hangout lol it was only 30 for that laffytaffy concert it shouldnt be that price now. spinnakers was nice also FYI there strip bars down there suck just go there for a good laugh

Woohoo!!!!! Spring Break is in FULL EFFECT! THe last few days have been killer! Packed clubs and beautiful beaches. We got to see a couple really good contests at Club La Vela... belly flop contest behind Spinnaker, partying behind Harpoon Harrys, and lots more!

We just added some more Spring Break photos to the gallery (almost 400 now!), and we have a HUGE photo update coming later this week.

Still trying to get the videos from last week online for you guys... too much partying, not enough uploading, I guess!

The weather has been a little cloudy for a couple days,but the sun came out this afternoon and it should be sunny and warm the rest of this week. Highs in the 70s and lows around 50-55.

We met our Spring Break blogger, Rogben, today at lunch! Look forward to reading his Spring Break blog as he gets it started right here in the TripSmarter Forums!
