Just want to give all of ya'll that are planning to come down an update. I live here and have been out almost every night so far and most of the days. The weather is BEAUTIFUL, the beaches are PACKED, and the clubs are HOPPING!!! I have lived here for 3 years now and this is starting out to be the best one I've seen. During the day from what I've seen, the best place to be is on the beach in front of Spinnaker and La Vela. The pool side of La Vela has been pretty good too. There have been some awesome concerts in front of The Summit beach resort. I have seen LL CoolJ, All American Rejects, Daddy Yankee and Lil Wayne and they have all be GREAT! The beach starts getting busy at around 12 or 1 usually, so either come early to get a good spot or don't ***** if you are sitting on someone's lap :) First things first for the night scenes, the traffic is HORRIBLE!!! Either know some short cuts or leave early. Here is an example for any of you that know the beach at all, it took me an hour and 15 min to get from Hooters to La Vela. It is no joke. But anyway, La Vela has been packed every night, I think just because of the name. Spinnaker is the same story. I think the sleeper for this year has been Coyote Ugly's so far. It has been awesome every night that I've been there. That's usually were all of my friends and I start the night. All the other smaller clubs have been full too, but those three are the top three so far. I am all about a party and having a good time so believe me and I'll try and keep everyone updated on here.
