It's back to work for most and back to school for some, but for hundreds of tourists, mainly from Florida, Alabama, and Georgia, it's back to sobriety! Despite the current uprising of condominiums and increase in gas prices, college kids in the southeast flocked to the Spring Break capital of the world, Panama City Beach, for the 4th of July holiday. The daytime contests at Club La Vela were in full-swing and the superclubs filled their parking lots at night. Local PD swarmed the strip at night time to delay the inevitable (and to keep us safe, of course). Whether you were walking, driving, or... doing other things on the beach, the skies were filled with snaps, crackles, and pops of a full spectrum of colors - set off by liberated PCB veterans! So for those of you who missed out on the new freindships, the liver-punishing escapades, the questionable hook-ups, and most importantly, the celebration of our great nation, we hope to see you next year!
