I know its early, but me and some of my friends are starting to look at hotels so we can get it booked. Any suggestions on which hotel has the best location/party atmosphere?

You probably want to check out the Chateau and the Summit for starters.

You might also want to check out the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort and the Boardwalk Beach Resort.

My best friend and I really liked Quality Inn. It's cheaper and smaller than some of the other hotels. The beach was less crowded, but it had a great atmosphere. All the people were awesome.

stayed in the boardwalk 2005 ...it is alot of fun, but the security guys were hardcore. any underage drinking they poured out the stuff and even kciked some out!! so you have to be on high alert. iam going for the holiday inn in 2007.

So any idea where they dont give a **** bout underage drinkin because some of my group wont be 21

Everyone in PCB cares about underage drinking.

i agree every is wathcing for it....but be smart. hide stuff in a water bottle or just mix it in a cup...and if u c secruity sober up fast!!

Let's just "pretend" that I've had 5 years of underage drinking experience in PCB (because I do not participate in nor condone any actions involving breaking the law), so I'll offer you my insight.

If you want to drink underage, you don't HAVE to do it in PUBLIC. No hotels do random room searches, so as long as you drink in your hotel or on the sand at the beach, you shouldn't have any problems. DON'T drink in parking lots - the undercover's like to hang out there.

I generally stick to mixed drinks anyway at night, so I if you plan on riding down the strip with a drink, I suggest picking up one of the 32oz. fountain drinks from a gas station and make yourself a mixed drink with 4 shots or so.

Anybody acting obnoxious or belligerent is going to draw attention.

If you're underage, DON'T drink in the clubs. I worked security at La Vela for a long time and busted several kids for underage drinking. Hypothetically, if a Spring Breaker gets wasted at the club, tries to drive home, and ends up crashing and killing someone, that underage drinker is going to say he got drinks from the club. BAM lawsuit and BAM fired security.

Bring a flask and take 3 shots or so in the parking lot before you go in. It's a lot cheaper anyway than paying $5 a drink. Tell the bartender to make you a "Sprite and grenadine". Looks just like an alcoholic beverage, but isn't (and security knows this by the type of cup it is).

yea they can be proper dicks about it.....try to keep them on side and even offer them a drink...or something!! they dont have time for people being *** holes and pissing them off!! be nice n friendly may work for ya!!

Chickmagnet, I couldn't have said it better myself. I've done a lot of underage drinking in PCB and haven't had any problems. That's because I've done it with caution. I've seen people arrested for drinking underage by the road and in parking lots. I've seen many people kicked out of bars for drinking underage. I actually got kicked out of Harpoon Harry's for drinking underage. Reason being, I was acting stupid. I drank at the hotel(Chateau) all the time with no problems. I drank a beer while talking to security and they never said anything to me. Security really doesn't care for the most part. Just don't cause trouble. Of course you get the security guys that are on a power trip that are just dying to screw somebody over. At the Chateau they have sheriffs and they would rather just stand around. They don't want to arrest you. Just don't give them a good reason too and you'll have no problems.

Oh yeah, the Boardwalk and the Chateau are the two best hotels down there.
